All ages can ride, drive and operate real diggers at Diggerland Devon, just a few miles from Cullompton and the M5 – easy to get to, easy to find and enormous fun for the whole family.
The 20 main rides and drives are included in your entry ticket; among them are Spindizzy, Skyshuttle, Groundshuttle and Mini Tractors. There are also several optional extra rides like Quad Bikes, Dodgems and Super Digs, with some being coin operated, so bring a bag of spare change because the chances are you’ll need it. The rides are well in keeping with the Diggerland theme, using specially adapted or constructed diggers and dumpers. Take Spindizzy for instance; you’re strapped into a whopper of a digger bucket, hoisted up into the air and spun around, so it’s definitely one for before lunch, rather than after! Skyshuttle takes you 50ft up into the air for amazing views over the park and the Devon countryside beyond; the perfect opportunity for panoramic photos.
The tinies will whoop with delight in the indoor soft play area and the Little Tykes Play Zone, then you can head to the picnic area for your sandwiches and fizzy pop. If you weren’t that organised, there’s a café serving burgers, wraps and rolls, kids meals and hot and cold drinks.
Another thing Diggerland Devon do is Adult Experience Days where you can have a whale of a time Dumper Racing or on a Group or Individual JCB Experience; great fun for corporate team building, stag weekend activities and birthdays. If you’ve always fancied getting behind the controls of some seriously massive earth movers, here’s your chance to dig, drive, excavate and dump.
