10/10 - Just returned from a 4-night break at this beautiful property. We were a party of 12, 6 adults & 6 children & Cockercombe certainly didn't disappoint! The children loved the indoor pool, it was ideally situated next to the bedrooms so they didn't have far to walk. The house itself was incredible, with everything we needed, including a welcome cake that was left on the huge dining room table! We didn't want to leave & will definitely be returning to this incredible house where so many memories were made with my family. Thank you so much! - Dikici - March 24

10/10 - The house is so conveniently stocked with utensils and facilities it made the trip for a large group seamless. The kitchen is not pictured on the site but it is spacious and modern. The pool was a gem, especially with the children. Rooms and beds were all hotel standard clean and comfortable. Can't fault this place...Definitely recommend it. - Naga - Dec 23

10/10 - We particularly enjoyed the way the house was designed as it was a very sociable place for all, but with the opportunity to have your own space too. The children loved the play area and trampoline and adults and children alike loved the pool and the table tennis. It was actually an effort to get the children out of the house as they never wanted to leave! - Ryan

9/10 - We very much enjoyed our stay. The house is well laid out and equipped, with comfortable beds and sofas. We loved the pool, had fun with the table tennis and boules and enjoyed a few meals cooked on the barbecue. - Arnold
10/10 - Having stayed at Cockercombe before, we knew what to expect and we were not disappointed. We loved the swimming pool especially. Simone was a delight and was very helpful and stayed in touch by text during the week. Took a while to work out that the flap on the media centre needs to be open before the TV can be operated. We loved our stay. Simple walks at Lydeard Hill only a short distance away were lovely. Dunster is very pretty but couldn’t visit the Castle due to COVID restrictions as had to book. Minehead and Watchet also worth a visit. - Archer

10/10 - We can recommend days out walking in the Quantocks and visiting Watchet, market day Wednesday....COVID restricted us as there were 14 of us. More space in the kitchen for food storage. We all enjoyed the table tennis and swimming pool. - Marden

9/10 - We were so lucky with the weather but the house was great, a couple of squeaky cupboards in the kitchen which could do with fixing. Loved the pool and outdoor table tennis and boule. Thanks so much for a really lovely stay. We were a little limited but were able to go to crazy golf at the activity centre in Taunton which was great. We stopped at the Quantock Brewery shop, unfortunately the tasting wasn't open but had some fantastic walks in the Quantock Hills. - Poland

10/10 - Thanks to Helen very helpful with questions asked and put herself out of her way to replace microwave due to 4 toddlers and children requirements. 60th birthday for my wife’s weekend was made special with the amazing Cockercombe lodge. Our family loved the lodge everything and the pool was great and play area. All clean and ready when we got there. Information throughout booking perfect and friendly thank you well pleased pass on info to many people wanting a special stay. - Smith

10/10 - We loved the house, it is comfortable and spacious. The facilities suited our large family. Great kitchen lots of utensils. Good family spaces. Hide and seek a must. Garden lovely with great children’s and adult activities. Location was good, places to go and see. Plenty of parking. Overall it was excellent. The welcome cakes was fab. Loved it and would definitely go again! We went to St Audries beach but mostly stayed around the house as it had everything we needed and wanted there! - Hannon

10/10 - I dont think you could improve it. Everything was catered for. Would highly recommed this place and your company. We went to Animal Farm near Burnham. Cheddar Gorge, Sidmouth and Minehead. But mostly stayed and enjoyed the pool boules and table tennis. Lovely place to relax and enjoy time with the family. Thank you. - Green
10/10 - We enjoyed our stay so much the grandchildren found the pool amazing and spent so much time having fun. We would recommend this house to anyone having a big family get together. We had the hottest few days of the year so the bedrooms were really hot, but that's to be expected. Great holiday didn't want to leave thank you. - Case
9/10 - Swimming pool and grounds as we had grandchildren with us, house equipped very well in deed, maybe a tumble dryer would be good although swimming area was good for drying cloths, the aga took up a lot of room in the kitchen and created heat when not needed very warm upstairs in particular. 9/10 - Loved the outside space and the pool. So much for the family to play together - we even managed a game of rounders in the garden! We absolutely loved the Quantock Trekking! Amazing for all levels and a beautiful way to see some awesome views! The girls were so lovely and really settled the first time riders. - Russell
8/10 - We love the pool and enclosed garden for the kids and dogs. We would have loved to have been able to walk directly from the lodge with the dogs; the guest book details were a little vague and so we called our host when we arrived to ask for advice. We were told not to pass the field at the end of the track and so were guided to walk through the village to find a bridle path perhaps. It would be really helpful to perhaps map any such walks out - we drove out in the end but would be really good to have details provided of where we could have walked directly. Similarly, when we'd booked the Farmers Arms for the Sunday lunch we were under the impression we could walk as was only 20 minutes away. We couldn't walk as no footpath and with children and dogs we were not going to walk along the road. Would have perhaps been helpful to know that in the details. - Hall
10/10 - The property was beautiful and well equipped, loved the pool and gardens. Had oxygen delivered and was appreciative of this being no problem to owners/ housekeeper. A very enjoyable stay and we were blessed with glorious weather. - Newecombe
10/10 - Cockercombe was an amazing place to stay at. All are very clean and furnished with everything you need. The rooms are all lovely and en-suite. The swimming pool was warm and the room hot, very lovely indeed. We were pleasantly surprised to also found a cake left for us in the house! Nice touch! Plenty of parking spaces. The whole experience from booking to leaving the place has been fantastic - there was always someone to get back to you promptly with any questions you had.
