Holiday Houses Sleeping 16

16 is a big number when it comes to holidays and finding the perfect property with everything you need to keep everyone happy isn’t always easy – but with us it is, every time. We may be called Sleeps 12, because that’s more or less how we started out, but since then we’ve grown so much and we now have a fabulous portfolio of luxury holiday lets that sleep 8-30 people.

That makes for some seriously amazing holidays, whether it’s a week long, a 4 night mid-week break, or a weekend stay of 3 nights. Just the thing when there’s a big family celebration coming up and you all want to spend time together toasting the occasion – say it’s Grandma’s 70th birthday; you can all spend time away – aunties and uncles, brothers and sisters, cousins, whatever, you can have a big family bash at a gorgeous holiday house in the country where you’ll have the bonus of an indoor swimming pool, a hot tub, a games room, and maybe even a sauna. And in the garden there’ll be a play area for the kids, a nice big patio where you can all have breakfast in the sunshine, or an alfresco lunch, and a BBQ lodge where you can all cosy up beneath the twinkly lights, toast marshmallows, swap stories, tell jokes – maybe someone can play the guitar and you can have a good old sing-song. Perfect.

Imagine it’s soon your 40th or 50th birthday; you don’t really want a party as such but you want to mark the occasion, make it one to remember. So get together a group of good friends and book up one of our fantastic holiday homes where accommodating 16 people is no problem. Say you’re a corporate group looking for something a but different for team building or rewards, or hospitality; we can do that. The majority of our properties have zip and link beds so you can have them arranged as superkings or twins, it’s entirely up to you but it solves the worry of who’s going to sleep where. The same with hen weekends, we can easily sleep 16 of you and it doesn’t mean doubling up, sleeping top to toe or anything.

Have a look at what we’ve got and you’ll see that most of our large group holiday houses are in the South West. The South West is a popular holiday destination for good reason – beautiful open countryside, plenty to see and do, and beaches that range from wide stretches of golden sand to windswept bays with wave cut platforms and towering striated cliffs. It’s a part of the world that’s easy to get to, via the M5, the A303 or the A30; straight down to Somerset or Devon, or over to Wiltshire, the Forest of Dean. All gorgeous, and we’ve got something for all tastes; country cottages, rambling old farmsteads, luxury timber-clad lodges, lovingly converted barns, and big country houses full of grandeur.

Apart from all the incredible facilities we’ve told you about, swimming pools and that, we’ve also thought about what else you might like to pass the time and you’ll see our website is full of inspiration. Each property has a page of Things To Do – recommended places to eat, attractions to visit, beaches, towns, and outdoor spaces. On the Extras pages you’ll find fun-filled activities and outdoor pursuits – pony trekking, water sports, caving, rock climbing, fishing, clay pigeon shooting, and even things you can book up to do in-house, like cup cake decorating, life drawing and dance classes – Bollywood, Samba and Street for instance. Trust us, no-one is going to be bored, and you can even book professional caterers to come and do the cooking for you - a great idea for a special celebration feast.

And because of the fab facilities our big houses have it really doesn’t matter one little bit what time of year it is; rain or shine you’ll have plenty to keep you amused. You can have lazy summer days picnicking on a hilltop or lounging by the pool, autumn walks in the woods kicking up the leaves and coming back to the fireside for toast and tea, sparkly Christmas or New Year celebrations, and mild spring days in the garden or walking through the fields. Like we said, perfect. And the cost? It’s not expensive – split between everyone in your group it works out at less than the cost of a decent hotel per person, so actually, it’s remarkably good value considering what you get. So if you’re looking for a truly wonderful holiday house that sleeps 14 get yourself comfy, cup of tea, biscuits and that, and take a look at what we’ve got.
