Where’s Spring gone then? Just when it looked like it had taken centre stage it’s gone all cold and blustery again! It’ll pick up of course but It goes to show that you can’t rely on the English weather and that’s why if you’re planning a holiday in the UK for 8-30 people it’s always wise to find large group holiday homes with indoor swimming pools. Add to that games rooms, covered hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms and you’ve got it covered; it matters not if the sun has got his hat on or not, you’ll all be fine.
But it’s not easy to find large group holiday accommodation with all that, we hear you cry! Say you’ve got a group of 18 of you, all different ages, from 6 months to 80 years old, and you’re all looking for a great place to have a few days away celebrating a big wedding anniversary. Like we’ve said, you can’t rely on the British climate and the last thing you want is anyone getting bored; if it’s wet out the young ‘uns can’t run about outside the same, you can’t have days on the beach, or picnics, or lunch alfresco. But if you book a large group holiday house with an indoor pool, that takes a lot of pressure off, particularly when you remember that our pools are generally an even 1.2m deep – you don’t even need to be a good swimmer, you can just get in and have a splash about with your nearest and dearest – all jolly good fun and a lovely way to spend a rainy day. We won’t go on about the exercise benefits of an indoor pool, blah, blah, blah, everyone knows that swimming is good for you.

That’s the height of luxury and again, you don’t need good weather to sit in the sauna chatting to your besties whilst you unwind.
