Cricket St Thomas Golf Club, near Chard, Somerset
Just off the A30 close to the borders of Somerset, Devon and Dorset, this golf club has been going for over 80 years and has some of the most spectacular far reaching views of the Somerset countryside. The Par 70 course is one of glorious parkland and because of the excellent drainage, year round golf is guaranteed.
Visitors are welcome and they’ll happily tailor days for corporate groups, with breakfast and/or lunch included. There’s a choice of 18, 27 or 36 hole packages, and pitch and putt for juniors. You can hire buggies and trolleys, there’s a well stocked pro shop, and a 300 yard driving range.
The clubhouse is home to a very relaxed Sports Bar and a restaurant that has quickly gained an excellent reputation for the delicious food it serves and is well worth a visit; the Sunday carvery is highly recommended
