Hatch Beauchamp, Somerset
You'll find Hatch Beauchamp just off the A358 between Taunton and Ilminster in Somerset; it's a quiet village but has quite a thriving community with a garage, a country hotel and school. The village pub, The Hatch Inn is very welcoming, family friendly, dog friendly, etc. and certainly shouldn't be ruled out if you're staying nearby or going for a walk in the area - and there are some very good walks around the village, on narrow lanes and footpaths amidst gorgeous countryside.
