Jackie's Cakes
Jackie will make the most delicious homemade cakes and puddings for you, all freshly baked to order and delivered to your Sleeps 12 luxury large group holiday house. Note that an extra charge may be required for deliveries, but trust us, it's worth it!
There's quite a choice of cakes - she's a busy lady and you can imagine how gorgeous her kitchen smells when she's whipping up buttercream and mixing things to pop in the oven. Choose from traditional delights or more modern gluten free versions, or if you're celebrating a birthday, order a beautiful cake to mark the occasion, but bear in mind that a fruit cake needs time to mature so you'll need to order in plenty of time.
You can treat yourselves to afternoon tea - delicate sandwiches, cakes and scones, or you could order a seriously scrumptious pudding to round off a special meal or just the Sunday roast. Just the sort of thing you should be doing on holiday - spoiling yourself! Worth bearing in mind is that if you have a celebration planned, Jackie can supply balloons too - any occasion, any type, any colour, air filled, helium filled or even a wonderfully extravagant balloon garland. It's those finishing touches that make all the difference!

Sponges - 3 layers, 8" round - £20
Vanilla sponge with strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream filling
Coffee and Walnut filled with coffee flavoured buttercream and sprinkled with walnuts
Lemon drizzle filled with lemon curd and buttercream
Chocolate cake filled with chocolate buttercream and decorated with chocolate
Lemon Polenta - 12" round - £25
Divine gluten free cake; so moist it also makes a delicious dessert. Made with butter, ground almonds, polenta and lemons.
Tea Bread - 2lb loaf - £6.50
Fruit soaked in tea overnight to make a lovely moist dairy free tea bread, flavoured with mixed spice. Spread it thickly with butter or cream for a treat!
Scones - 50p each - plain, fruit or savoury cheese scones
Small Cakes from 50p each - brownies, flapjack, cupcakes, muffins
Afternoon teas - from £8 per person - to include finger sandwiches, cakes, scones, tea or coffee.
Birthday Cakes - all individually priced. From decorated sponges with soft fondant icing, chocolate cakes with chocolate ganache and chocolates, to fruit cakes with marzipan and icing. (NB: Fruit cakes need a few months to mature, so order with plenty of time).
