Monmouthshire Show, Monmouth
This one day spectacular is one of the biggest shows in Wales and makes for a superb family day out, with absolutely heaps to see and do. The date for this year’s show is July 7th 2018, and wow, just get a load of this – there are Family Fun Races to join in, a Family Fun Dog Show, donkey rides, bouncy castles, and a stilt walking clown, plus a circus where you can learn to juggle and loads more! In the main ring are Trials Bike Stunt Rides, show jumping, and cattle, sheep and horse displays; in the Countryside Area you can see alpacas, heavy horses, reptiles and birds of prey.
All this and hundreds of stalls, with a shopping and craft marquee and a food hall, so there’s no way anyone is going to go hungry.
Monmouthshire Showground is on the A466 Wye valley road on the edge of Monmouth, and there will be a free park & ride service operating from the town. There is ample on site parking at the show, with designated spaces for the less able bodied, and buggy hire available (email: events@mobilityhire4you.com). Events kick off at 8.00 am and the show closes at 7.00pm. Tickets can be bought online or at the gate.
