RHS Garden Wisley, Wisley, Woking, Surrey

Green fingered types or anyone who strives to be so won’t want to miss RHS Garden Wisley in Surrey; it’s one of the biggest plant collections in the world, and being the historic home of the RHS, it’s a horticultural heaven. The garden is divided into a multitude of different areas, each with their individual appeal; among them are the Exotic Garden, Jellicoe Canal and Wisteria Walk, the iconic Glasshouses and Glasshouse Borders, the Cottage Garden, Alpine Meadow, the Bonsai Walk and the undescribingly beautiful Bowles-Lyon Rose Garden.
This is utter mindfulness, you’ll feel as if the weight of the world has lifted from your shoulders; enjoy the sights, the colours, the scents, and the constant twittering of the birds. Even when it’s busy you can always find a peaceful corner somewhere. Before you head back to the car spare half an hour for a bite to eat in one of the cafes or the Terrace Restaurant. The gardens are accessible with a recommended wheelchair route and there is ample parking.
