Staple Hill Easy Access Viewpoint Trail, Blackdown Hills, Somerset
We believe that the beautiful countryside of Somerset and Devon should be available to everyone, even people with limited mobility, so it's good to hear of Easy Access Trails like this one in the Blackdown Hills. It's a short 1km circular walk over a level compacted surface with only the gentlest of gradients; two viewpoints with picnic benches allow the most breathtaking views out over the Vale of Taunton; a peaceful spot to stop for your packed lunch. On a clear day you can see right across Wales.
Park in the Forestry Commission car park at Staple Hill (height restriction barrier) and follow the waymarks.
