Stone Rock Pizza, Chepstow, Monmouthshire
Top-notch traditional Neapolitan pizza made the proper way; flour, olive oil and tomatoes come from Italy, the dough is hand-made and fermented for 3 days to give a light, slightly chewy texture, just like it should be. Other ingredients are sourced locally and even the wine is made in Monmouthshire.
The pizza menu is quite extensive, and the choice is superb. Margherita, Veggie Heaven, Smoke House, the Truffle Shuffle, and for those who don’t like tomatoes, Out of the Woods; but that’s not it so don’t be surprised if you take a while to make your mind up what you want, and if you’re vegan or gluten free just let them know.
The atmosphere is relaxed, the service friendly; there’s a charming courtyard at the back, but if you really don’t fancy going out then they’ll deliver in the Chepstow area, or you can order pizza to takeaway.
