Taunton Cycle Trail, Taunton, Somerset
As a whole this is a 40 mile cycle trail that takes you through some very attractive Somerset villages, and needless to say, stunning countryside in West and mid Somerset. 5 radial loops start from the centre of Taunton, making 5 smaller loops, ranging from 12 to 19.5 miles.
You can download the relevant maps from the Ordnance Survey website and with a free trial GPX files of the trail and loops are available. From this you’ll be able to work out your own route if you want to; whatever you do there are several good pubs to stop at en route for refreshments.
