This award winning 17th century pub in the village of Bishopswood, on the Blackdown Hills, has a lovely, inviting atmosphere; open fires, wooden floors, flint walls…. it’s really cosy, and the staff are very friendly. There’s a great range of beer and locally produced cider, and an ever changing menu of pub classics with the chef’s own creative twist - Lyme Bay seared scallops, chargrilled Devon lamb cutlets, and beetroot & ricotta tortellini feature on the dinner menu. The pretty garden is perfect for a peaceful drink in the sunshine. Dog friendly and welly friendly.
