10/10 - Stunning property, a real treat to stay in! - Davison

10/10 - Just the best weekend Becky left fizz for my husbands birthday a card sweets for the kids and treats for the dog. Everything you need is there the swim spa was lovely and the beds do so comfortable. Had a trouble with a trip switch going but was rectified in half an hour. Had Savva bars for catering who were also lovely and the food was great. Becky was so nice to speak to and was on hand to assist in anything you needed. Would throughly recommend Pitmaston House. - Marron

10/10 - The house was superb and very spacious. Becky who was our go to person was excellent and very friendly as are all the staff I have spoken to at Sleeps 12. - Playle

10/10 - The house was perfect! - Wilde

10/10 - From start to finish booking with Sleeps12 has been brilliant. The house exceeded our expectations and was even better than the pictures. We loved the outdoor space, the hot tub is so big and the dining and fire pit area was lovely. The house has everything we needed and was conveniently located just a short walk from the centre of Worcester. We would highly recommend a stay at Pitmaston House. - Balmer

10/10 - Nothing to improve it was fantastic. - Pawlowski

9/10 - Enjoyed the outside area. Vistied West Midland Safari Park. - Holland

9/10 - The outside area of Pitmaston House is brilliant. An outside sunbathing area with seating would be a great asset. - Robinson

9/10 - Brilliant that you recommend caterers on your website, we used Two Simmering Pans (see Extras) and they were excellent. The outdoor seating/eating area with the open fire was amazing. The property was exceptionally safe for children. The trampoline was an absolute winner. - Hughes

9/10 - Outside covered area was excellent. Made good use of Pizza Oven and BBQ. Sun loungers would be useful. We visited Wyre Forest Centre, BewdleyWest Midlands Safari ParkUpton Marina, Upton-on- SevernWorcester Cathedral and Town Centre. - Brooks

10/10 - The house was absolutely beautiful, we loved everything about it. The only small thing that would have been even better was just maybe some sun loungers for outside for those that want to sit in the sun and an outdoor fridge for drinks!! But every Detail was thought of and the house was so well equipped and just stunning. We can recommend walking the Malvern Hills. - Bailey

10/10 - There needs to be more glasses, we had to rinse the champagne glasses to use for the dessert wine, I can't recall how many wine glasses there were but there should be at least 24. There are tumblers but they are massive, too big to use as nice water glasses on the table - people come here and want to set the table nice and the glasses are just too big! The house lends itself to a nice dinner party but the glasses were a disappointment - small point I know but it was a shame. Also plates, there are very big dinner plates and small side plates, it needs something in-between. Also, more outside tableware would be good (and better for the house to avoid taking glasses outside). A few trays would be helpful. We couldn't work out how to turn off the outside fairy lights - no information in the folder. It said the property had salt and pepper so we didn't take it - it did have but it was the cheap, small plastic pots and ready ground pepper - most people today expect salt and pepper to grind. Again small point but easy to fix. There are ample kitchen knives but they need a good sharpen - they were so blunt. It's a 5* property, it didn't disappoint but some small areas just need to match the 5* and they aren't expensive to put right. We'd definitely stay there again. - Roberts

Response: "We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us at Pitmaston House. We have taken your feedback on board and will be purchasing some more trays, medium sized plates, medium sized glasses and wine glasses. We do provide two integrated dishwashers in the kitchen for guests to use as they wish in order to turn over clean dishes! We will be providing some cool, outdoor cutlery/dinner sets as well for when the weather improves, so we will look into actioning this sooner. With regards to the outdoor lighting, it is a switch next to the back door entrance, we will label this clearly for future guests." - Manager

10/10 - Loved the house, the layout and the facilities. Would have liked to have seen more info on recycling the rubbish, other than bottles. - Mackenzie

Response: "All our property owners take recycling very seriously and as commercial ventures have to have the correct commercial waste collections in place. This makes sure that all wastes and recyclables generated from your holiday are transformed into high quality raw materials and renewable energy". - Sleeps12

10/10 - A lovely weekend celebrating with friends for half of the groups 50th birthday celebrations. Accommodation was perfect. Very festive too being the first weekend in December - the snug would’ve been the perfect place for a Christmas tree & the only fault we had was there was only one tea towel & nothing to wipe the surfaces with! Other than that it was perfect - thank you! A lovely walk into Worcester town centre, plenty of cafes & independent shops, & the Cathedral to visit. - Marsden

10/10 - The property was so gorgeous we wanted to stay in! But had Chef Pat through Poptop event planning, and butlers in the buff, we did an in house afternoon tea ourselves and ordered from a variety of local takeaway places on the Saturday night. The town is only 5 minutes away for those who would like to do something out of the house. The surrounding areas are also lovely for a walk. The bedroom space was amazing, especially the master bedroom. The outside fire and swim spa were an added bonus, and just having such big open spaces for the whole party to come together. - Laidford

10/10 - House was absolutely fantastic. The outside was great and the pizza oven was a lovely touch. Everything was catered for. The staff who manage the property were excellent too. - Till

9/10 - Pitmaston House is a gorgeous property maintained to a high standard. Well equipped kitchen which is handy when we had a chef in our party! Fantastic eating space where we all sat down together. Office staff were great and became our friends. After our original holiday was cancelled 3 days before departure, Sleeps 12 and Pitmaston House restored our faith in human nature. Travelled to Gloucester Quays for retail therapy which we enjoyed. Loved wandering around Worcester a beautiful city. - Rolfe

9/10 - The seating area and hot tub was excellent but you could do with some lights around the stairs. The quad biking was excellent. - Barker

10/10 - The most amazing property. Had everything you could want. Great indoor and outdoor facilities. Didn’t realise there was a games room until too late. Maybe could be made clearer. But fully loved every moment. Thank you! - Lockwood-Taylor

9/10 - Finding out the property was owned by a guy we were at Uni with and played rugby with was a bonus. The outside space is fantastic and we were so lucky with the weather. We went to March Hare Leisure for pistol shooting and go karting, only a 20 minute drive away, and a tour of the Chase Distillery which was terrific. - Watt

10/10 - We stayed as a group of 14 for a 50th Birthday. Fantastic property fit for any large group with plenty of space. The outside area is amazing with plenty to do that we never left the house. Excellent large kitchen with everything you need in it. Beautiful bedrooms with plenty of toiletries. If we had to be picky could do with more instructions for the hot tub, 2 extra chairs at inside table as only 12 and there was 14 of us, not enough bowls for cereal, and no access to the washer and dryer as stated. Would definitely consider returning. - Lockett

Thank you for your review. In response to your feedback, we are currently in the process of updating our pre-supplied handbook. This will include further instructions on the various hot tub settings inclusive of jets, lights and swim current. We have supplied some dark wood benches which can be moved around the table to fit the party size. With these benches, we can now seat up to 16 people, plus high chairs. More bowls have also been purchased. With regards to the washer/dryer room, this room is only available to guests during week-time stays due to staffing over the weekend and a longer duration of stay. Thank you! - Owner

10/10 - The interior of the house was everything we expected particularly the large living space centred around the kitchen. The exterior facilities were much better than anticipated. We all enjoyed the pool table and the fire pit but the grandsons particularly enjoyed the sunken trampoline. Staff were most helpful. The only thing I could suggest would be a couple of sun loungers. We enjoyed the walk to the top of the Malvern Hills. The local 10 pin bowling was a big hit with everyone although parking is not easy there. The river walk and feeding the swans followed by a walk around the cathedral. - Boulter

10/10 - Good location, high spec, well equipped. Code access entry which gave the impression of privacy and security, however, it became apparent that there was a side gate allowing entry to anyone on foot. Amazon delivery drivers?! Meter reader knocked on door to access electricity meter? - Gregory

“Thank you for your review. In response to your feedback, we can only apologise for your experience with delivery drivers and utility company suppliers, we have not had this issue before during weekend stays! All delivery drivers are instructed to come to the office on delivery notes as standard, so errors made here are sadly down to those suppliers/individuals. We apologise for any disturbance to your stay and will take further measures to prevent this happening in future. Thank you!” - Owner

8/10 - The house was luxurious and clean but upstairs was often cold. The trip switch also flicked off on the first night when we were using the ovens. There was no discernible reason for it (we had an electrician as one of our party) and eventually someone responded and came round but by then we had decided to make the best of a bad job and just ate the bits of the meal that were cooked. The hot tub and outside eating area with fire pit, bbq and pizza oven were outstanding. - Broomfield

10/10 - House was amazing. Personal chef experience fantastic. - Holman

10/10 - Hot tub was absolutely fantastic! Beautiful venue and bedrooms. Can't fault it! Best Hen do ever! - Holman

10/10 - Pitmaston is an absolutely fabulous house, spacious and elegant, perfect for my week of celebrations with friends and family. We used the hot tub, fire pit and pizza oven several times, which were all great fun. It would have been helpful to have had instructions for the pizza oven - we knew to get it well lit at least an hour in advance, and to shovel the embers to the back of the oven, but first time round we didn’t know that semolina flour was essential to prevent the pizzas sticking to the paddle. What a mess! We can recommend walking along the river into Worcester to look round the cathedral and town centre. The Firs, Elgar’s birthplace (National Trust, 2-3 miles away) which is a delightful little museum and visitor centre with occasional daytime concerts. - Nicholls

10/10 - The kitchen/family room was fantastic and so comfortable and had everything you could think of. Outdoor facilities exceeded our expectations and was a contrast to being indoors all weekend. - Bentman

9/10 - We loved the space in the living area. Gym was great (no longer there) and the bedrooms were excellent although a couple of the rooms had problems adjusting the temperature of the water in their showers. Trampoline was great for the children although some repair work is required where the springs are. Outside seating was excellent and my son-in-law was addicted to the outside wood fire! Crockery, glasses, cooking facilities, dishwashers, laundry were all first class. A couple of areas that we think need looking at: 2 or 3 small tables in the main sitting area for putting drinks on. The bedroom curtains in the master bedroom are very tight to pull and really need adjusting. The cover on the hot tub is rather difficult to take off and replace. Quite unusual that there didn’t appear to be any recycling of paper, glass etc as it all went into the rubbish! Finally a very petty thing but the two bay trees at the front of the house need replacing with real ones (they need very little attention and don’t look a bit cheap!). We all enjoyed our holiday at Pitmaston House and would certainly recommend it to any friends who are looking for a big house to celebrate an event or holiday. - Sherriff

9/10 - Kitchen, wifi, and bathrooms were great. To be even better: - most of the bedrooms really needed more storage - plenty of hanging space but no drawers. They could also do with darker curtains/blinds - too much light in the mornings. Disappointing lack of recycling facilities. The BBQ could do with an overhaul. We visited the Malvern Hills, Go Karting and Treasure Trail in Worcester. - Kenward

9/10 - Beautiful House that was perfect for our Birthday celebration. Housekeeping staff were very attentive and dealt with a problem with the air con very efficiently. Outside seating area with the fairy lights was perfect, however more attention needed to the garden (partly laid with badly fitting astro turf and quite untidy compared to the amazing house). Unfortunately Hot Tub was too hot to use in the day due to the weather we experienced but used for a night time dip. All in all very happy with our stay and worked perfectly for our party of 11. The family visited Worcester which is a lovely city with a truly beautiful cathedral. - Jeffrey

9/10 - We stayed at Pitmaston House, Worcester and it was amazing, the only thing to stop giving the house a 10 out 10 was the garden needed some furniture, sun loungers for hot days would be perfect! - Coulson

9/10 - Loved the property and outside bbq area was fab! Walked to Worcester Cathedral took 25 mins lovely walk along the river! - Burns

10/10 - Loved outdoor seating area. Excellent facilities. Help was always on hand and any requests we made were always met with a smile. Visit beautiful city of Worcester. Visit Malvern and Malvern hills. - Murray

7/10 - We enjoyed the kitchen living room downstairs as well as the covered terrace outside. Should be advertised as semi detached the garden looked neglected not mown or weeded we had a problem on Saturday texted caretaker they never came back. - Bridgeman

10/10 - Pitmaston house is amazing, love the spacious rooms and the amazing kitchen area, everything we needed was there, biggest hot tub ever and the out door seating area was a dream, sad to come home..! Worcester town is lovely for shopping and eating out. - Bainbridge

10/10 - The whole experience was amazing NO improvement needed. We all loved every minute. It’s such a social, beautiful property. Maybe one comment lack of drawer space in some bedrooms and locks on wardrobes not the best. We can recommend days out to Worcester town and cathedralMalvern Hills.

9/10 - Outside entertainment area and jacuzzi were fantastic. Very spacious property, that felt homely. Felt private and secure. TV signal was inconsistent. Dishwashers didn’t always clean properly. Could have done with more dishclothes, cling film/ tin foil, tea towels and large serving bowls. We visited Escape Rooms - CyberQ and had afternoon tea at Worcester Whitehouse Hotel (Oval room if a big party, which is private). - Hyde

9/10 - We really enjoyed our stay at Pitmaston House. The house itself is stunning with its high ceilings and open plan living area. We had great fun cooking pizzas in the outdoor area. Things that would have improved our stay would have been storage cupboards for our food shopping as all was taken up with pots/pans etc. Also we weren’t shown where the bins were located and weren’t provided enough bin bags. A coat/shoe storage area would be great (recommend using the area under the stairs) as we found this got a bit messy with so many of us. On the whole a very enjoyable stay. - Rathod

9/10 - The house was very well maintained and had everything you would expect. A suggestion would be to put some form of lighting by the hot tub steps. These can obviously be slippery and at night is very difficult to navigate due to no lighting. - Pye

9/10 - We enjoyed the weekend at Pitmaston house, the house was faultless! - Fenwick

10/10 - We would recommend: Sort the heating out, mostly cold then hot at night!! Less emails from you! We enjoyed the Morgan Factory tour and the Malvern Hills. - Johnstrup Party

10/10 - We enjoyed the house and it’s facilities. Was amazing! - Egan Party

10/10 - We enjoyed our stay! - Bressers Party

8/10 - We gave some suggestions to the two ladies running Pitmaston House. Where they could they made improvements there and then. Ten out of ten for responsive service. We were there in January. We had issues with the heating, those associated with the main living area were resolved quite quickly. Despite best efforts, those associated with the bedrooms were not resolved until the day before we left. The problem turned out to be the position of the thermostat that controlled the bedroom radiators - it was on the first floor landing, which was always lovely and warm, so it wasn't until we realised you had to turn down the radiators on the landing and raise the temperature on the thermostat did we get real heat in the bedrooms. Also three of the bathrooms had no heating or towel rails, freestanding electric towel rails were provided when this was pointed out, however a more permanent solution is required if the house is to be let in cold winter weather. The outside pizza oven and fire pit were great fun, even in January and I think I had the best pizza I have ever had while at Pitmaston. Despite being on a main road and next to a school the property was very quiet and we were never conscious of the road traffic or the children next door. The house and grounds also felt very secure. It was a lovely property, a great place for friends and family to gather together. Within walking distance of Worcester town centre. Worcester, Malvern and the Cotswold villages are all nearby. We used the Treasure Trails available online to explore Worcester and Malvern. Well equipped. Nice Linen and towels. With a few tweaks it would be really fantastic. - Merricks Family

9/10 - We enjoyed our stay at Pitmaston! - Maydell Family

10/10 - We loved every minute of our stay. Everyone was very helpful both pre and during our trip. We are excited to make another booking for next year! We went for a lovely 20 minute walk to a beautiful pub for food - The Old Rectifying House - Taylor Party

10/10 - We enjoyed our stay! - Godfrey Family

9/10 - Great Stay - Stuch Party

10/10 - Facilities were great, everything we could have wanted. One tiny niggle - plumbing wasn't great, water not always draining and low flow. We put this down to the age of the house.  - Widdop Group

10/10 - Loved the hot tub, trampoline and the outdoor area in general was very pretty. Even in October we made it out around the fire pit each night. Indoors was just as great. Very spacious, lovely long table for a large group to eat at. Comfy communal spaces. Impressive master bedroom and plenty of bathrooms to go round. Lovely gym room which we used as a dance studio too! Plenty of parking in a gated area. We didn't need to leave the house as there was plenty to do there for the whole weekend! Amazing- all of it!!! - Lavelle Party

10/10 - The house was amazing! It catered for all of our needs and it was immaculate. - Preece Group

10/10 - The house had everything we needed. Loved the house, rooms amazing, hot tub great, we all loved making and cooking pizza in the ovens outside under the beautiful fairy lights. We also had the fire pit going - amazing. We also had a pampering afternoon and the ladies were amazing and very reasonable, most relaxing enjoyable time. Overall an amazing time with amazing friends. Thank you! - Butt Family

10/10 - Everything was perfect - Jess & Anne at Pitmaston House were extremely helpful and accommodating. We used Pitmaston for a corporate meeting. - Sciamma

9/10 - The house was great! Hot tub is fantastic and the trampoline so much fun!! It was like a 5* hotel. - Fitzgerald

9/10 - This is a 5 star property, which was ideal for our family Christmas. The house is quite exceptional in its luxury and amenities and was extraordinarily well prepared for our Christmas celebrations. - Wright
