King Charles II Inn, Worcester, Worcestershire

8 pumps of real ale, 2 local ciders, award winning pies. That sounds like all the ingredients for a traditional pub lunch, the sort that everyone likes, so you can’t go wrong if you come here for sustenance, and it's right in the centre of Worcester so perfect for a pint or lunch when you're exploring the city. The King Charles II has great atmosphere – and history; wood panelled walls, creaky floorboards, it's quite easy to get carried away and expect to see a Cavalier sitting in the corner.
The pies? Chicken, field and chestnut mushroom, Steak & kidney, Venison, Beef & stilton, Goats cheese, sweet potato, spinach and red onion, Pea, paneer, spinach, potato, chilli and mango. All served with mash and peas. Nom Nom.
