Inwood Farmhouse was once the homestead on a busy working farm; it’s recently been subject to a dramatic transformation which sees the essential Georgian character melded to perfection with luxury modern interiors; the result is stunning large group accommodation for 19 with a private indoor hot tub and sauna.

Whether you come to Inwood Farmhouse for a family holiday, a weekend away with friends, a significant celebration, refined hen party or corporate team building you’ll be making happy memories. If the weather isn’t great it doesn’t really matter because you can while away the time in style; if you fancy seeing a bit of the local area there’s plenty here for you. Right on the doorstep are the rufty-tufty Quantock Hills which are well worth exploring; wander up through sun dappled combes to the heather clad heaths, walking in the footsteps of romantic poets Wordsworth and Coleridge. You can see how they were so inspired by the scenery, with views that stretch across the Bristol Channel to Wales.

Pop over to Nether Stowey to visit NT owned Coleridge Cottage, have a day of discovery at Fyne Court or enjoy the relaxed ambience at The Walled Gardens of Cannington. If you go to Bishops Lydeard you can visit the working water mill or hop on the steam train and pootle through the glorious countryside with the West Somerset Railway. Alight at Dunster to see the medieval castle that stands on the hill above the village, go and buy flour from Dunster Mill and have a stroll along the Tall Trees Trail. Enjoy a day by the sea at Blue Anchor or Minehead, where you can have family fun on the sands, or sit and watch the world go by at Watchet.

If you like wild and untamed go and explore some of the smaller tucked away beaches on the Somerset Coast, like East Quantoxhead, St Audries Bay and Kilve where you can hunt for fossils before heading back up the lane to the Chantry Tea Gardens. Take a trip to Exmoor National Park, look out for wild ponies feeding, ride the Victorian Cliff Railway at Lynton and Lynmouth, see the Valley of Rocks, stroll along the river at Watersmeet or Tarr Steps, take the kids to Exmoor Zoo. They’ll have a super time at Tropiquaria Wildlife Park or Doniford Farm Park too a day trip to Brean Theme Park will have them shrieking with delight. You’ll find country pubs on your travels – The Lamb at Spaxton and The Rising Sun at West Bagborough are good, but just a stone’s throw from Inwood Farmhouse is Kitchen at Quantock Lakes; pop up for breakfast or for Sunday lunch. Heaps to see and do – it’s just fitting it all in! Book today!
