Dawdledown is hidden away at the end of a lane in the peaceful village of Wilmington, not far from Eastbourne and Brighton. It’s lovely and peaceful here and it feels like a world of your own; all yours are an outdoor pool, a hot tub and the loveliest, rambliest garden to play in. Discover the little tucked away bits, play hide and seek, find a spot for a quiet read of your book, have a game of make believe.
Inside the house is so homely, so welcoming; in the main house there are 5 bedrooms, a spacious living room and a large heritage style kitchen/dining room, so there’s plenty of room for you all to gather together for happy feasts and movie nights. The annexe has a bedroom, a shower room, living room and kitchen and can sleep 2 adults and 2 children under 16, so it’s great for a family, for older folk who prefer an earlier bedtime, or for anyone who appreciates their own space.
On the doorstep are the South Downs, a big wide world waiting to be discovered; there’s so much to do round here, with picturesque villages like Alfriston to visit, historic towns like Lewes, and the beaches on the Sussex Heritage Coast. Spend an exciting day by the sea in Brighton or Eastbourne, or head over to Cuckmere Haven in the Seven Sisters Country Park for quieter times.
